In the context of rising authoritarianism, international agreements are more important than ever. When your government isn’t protecting your rights, international structures are critical tools to support Civil Society, both by protecting human rights and ensuring citizen-participation in governance. One such agreement, UN Resolution 1325, mandates women’s participation in peacebuilding, provides protection from human rights violations, and presses for access to justice and services to eliminate discrimination.
You are invited to join Global Fund for Women, Women's Regional Network, and Our Secure Future in Denver, Colorado for a special discussion featuring Sharon Bhagwan Rolls to learn more about how women’s rights activists from around the world are using this resolution to push back and build peace.
